Having received many questions concerning a simple method of calculating game localization cost I decided to create a small application just for that.
The idea is simple:
- You prepare an XLS/XLSX file.
- Open it in Hiero (that will be name of the calculator).
- Select columns containing strings to be localized.
- Input your rate per word.
- Hit Count button.
- Display total number of words and overall price.
- That’s it.
